Children of God
Matthew 5: 9
I have been told that my sons both look like me... and that they act like me! Most often that is a problem... but on a rare occasion they surprise me, emulating a good trait that I have. And it makes me proud.
What I find interesting about this verse is the reference to son-ship. Do they have qualities of the Father when they are "peacemakers"? Is this a trait of "dad".
Peacemaker- on who makes peace... not peaceful, but one who is intentional about making peace! They are not passive in this attempt but they are active in "making peace".
Do I have traits like my Father? When people look at me do they SEE HIM?
