The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. I thank God through Jesus Christs sacrifice we are righteous and when we pray earnestly ( serious, intense) powerful things will happen, now for now on every time I pray I will pray earnestly and expect great things will happen. Thats what happened when Elijah prayed for the rain to stop and it did because of his faith and Gods promise. I ready for the rain.
