Can the tree of life die?

So, is the Garden of Eden still somewhere on Earth? If it is, it has to be someplace warm since they were supposed to live there NAKED. Are the cherubim and the flaming sword still there? I would assume that they would be - there were placed there under the assumption that the place *could* be found again (it's not like God destroyed it, hid it, or made it so that our human eyes couldn't see it or the security detail wouldn't be necessary, right?)
