The severity of this verse
People think that all the rumors and the spread of them stop after high school, but all your life you will be judged by what you say & how you act. It doesn't begin and end in high school, its probably at its worst then, but even in adulthood the stuff you do daily vs. what you say you want to do is judged. I know adults who still spread rumors through book clubs, at work... Telling these people how you are a Christ Follower and you are witnessing to them, and then turn around and do the exact opposite makes them hate christians and view them as more of hypocrites. You will be forgiven & still be covered by grace, but how will that person know that they're under grace too if their mind is closed to learning about Jesus...?
