Out on a Limb
God grants each of us different abilities, resources, and skills based on what we are capable of. In the parable, money was distributed "according to their abilities". God doesn't give us anything we can't handle. If you feel God is calling you to do something, you shouldn't have to worry about if you can do it or not. Sometimes, God puts us in situations, that force us to rely on Him to accomplish what he has set in front of us. Like in verse 28, we need to "get rid of this "play-it-safe"" attitude. God wants you to take risks, to exercise your faith and trust in him to succeed in what He has given you to do. Sometimes, we've got to go out on a limb to see God move in our work. Think about the gifts God has given you. In what ways can you start putting your faith into practice to use those gifts for a ridiculous increase in the Kingdom of God? Nobody can stop someone on a mission from God. Go out on a limb today.
