The link is of a village / ministry compound in southern Sudan. The Lord is doing some amazing things there. A good friend was planning on joining the cause there, but at the last hour funding didn't come thru. He had left his job and was undoubtedly feeling foolish and confused.

4 months later we found out this village was attacked by raiders who looted, killed and burned. The house my friend would have been staying in was destroyed. Surely the Lord could have spared my white friend as he did many of the Sudanese who live there. But perhaps God provided a donkey that wouldn't let him get there in the first place.
