A New House!
It is true that we labour in vain to build God a house... unless He is involved.
God is asking, "Where is the house you will build for me?; Where will my resting place be?"
God wants a place to meet with people and we have the amazing opportunity to build that house. We must build a house personally and corporately.
The Personal House:
- the person who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at God's word.
The Corporate House:
- A place where all of us can gather and worship God together.
- If we are geographically together in one place, we need a place to meet.
- If we are regularly in that same geographic place, we need a place where we are not interrupted.
- If we grow to be a large gathering, we need to facilitate that gathering without losing the elements of private devotion.
- If we are not in the same geographic place, then we can meet here, online.
Praise God for technology!
