Transformation and Renewal
In our walk with Christ, i've found that the renewal is neverending.. When i finally gave my life to God and quit smoking ganja, I thought i would be golden. No sex drugs or alcohol. and i'd be a fine and dandy lil christian Boy. To my suprise, It didn't stop with that. I found that we are continually renewed and transformed by God. Sometimes, he is changing us, and growing and strengthening us through situations and we don't even realize it. When Jesus said "It is finished, what he had come to physicaly do was finished. But he is never finished within us, once he had said that, it had only just begun for us. His spirit that lives within us continually changes th person that we are and warps us and tears us apart, and then builds up in a new way what was torn down and in turn helps us to become more Christ like. He changed me and made me look at drugs, alcohol, and women in a new light, never to look at them in the same way as i once did. So....are you being transformed and renewed by God? Take a look at your words, actions, and thought life. Are they the same as a year or two ago? Or are you a new creation?
