I have a hard time reading this and not substituting "I am of First Baptist", "I am of Calvary Chapel", "I am of Grace Lutheran". It's easy to rationalize why we should take on a name, but it just isn't important, and it really misses the point (and seems counter to everything Paul is trying to say here).

Christ prayed for our unity so that the world would know that the Father had sent Him. If our unity speaks to the world, how much more our discord?

Speak the same thing...
... in the same mind
... in the same judgement

This is a strong plea begging the body to be united in both understanding and purpose.

Remember these words as you interact with fellow believers. Don't discriminate based on church names... they mean nothing. The church is the body, and the body is hurting from generations of contentions.
