Mark 8:24 ASV

My friends and I have a theory about this verse. This man was afflicted with two diseases. One was blindness. The other was a rare disorder that I'll call treepeople. It's symptoms must include thinking people are trees. He had this disorder all his life but since he was also blind he just assumed that he was surrounded by talking trees. Once his blindness was cured his treepeople disorder convinced him that he was correct - talking, walking trees. Once Jesus cured him of treepeople that also saved many people from being chopped down by mistake.
