My Life
I have huge ambitions about my future, and I am torn between whether my professional career or a life of ministry is God's plan. Seeing myself as the guy who makes deep into the six figures is a fun thought and I want to be blessed like that so I can bless the church, but let's get serious...that's not the only reason. It is an ongoing struggle, and it's okay, but it's hard. These verses make things a lot more peaceful. As long as I commit my plans to the Lord, I am bound to succeed. Couple that with trusting God about my future and I can't lose. Maybe you are in the same dilemma I am. Maybe you know God's will for you completely. Either way it is comforting to know that if we have the faith to commit our plans to God, the humility to apply instruction, and the audacity to trust God's plan, we can be certain that everything will work out. Not only that, we will prosper and succeed. God can't get any better. Whenever it seems like things aren't working out, ask yourself, "Am I commiting my plans to God, do I trust him, am I applying instruction?" Do and be blessed.
