Believers are never alone
This is such a great verse. I have been abandoned in my life by my biological father and sometimes I find it hard to trust even my closest family members because of that betrayal. What God says here though is that even the love of a mother, which is often times much deeper than the love of an earthly father, cannot be compared to how much God loves us. Even if your very own mother forgets you God promises to NEVER, NEVER forget you no matter what. This is a promise given by God and God is incapable of ever breaking a promise that he makes. This alone is enough for me to fall on my knees and worship him. He truly is the cure to loneliness, and in a world of orphans that we currently live in he promises to always be there for us. Of course, he will be there, but will we notice him? That is usually the dilemma.
