Peek-a-Boo
This verse is amazing...it takes me back to high school when God grabbed me by the shirt and said, "Okay, that's it, from now on you're coming with me." I wasn't looking to be a real Christian, I was just meeting new friends. I didn't ask to be changed, I just showed up to the first church service that my friend's dad was pastoring. All I wanted to do was make a little extra cash, I wasn't getting a ride from my future pastor to hear him tell me that God had a plan for my life on the way to go paint a house. God found me even though I wasn't trying to be found. I guess I didn't have a really good hiding place because I started exposing myself to some light. God would put lamp after lamp (person after person) into my life until my eyes finally adjusted and I could see a little more clearly. Thank God he doesn't wait on us, but instead initiates contact, otherwise I would still be in the dark.
