In a marriage we strive to be a closer, tighter, healthier marriage by being who we are and hoping that is compatible w/ our mate. Even when we have found the perfect match we constantly must talk to each other so we know what the other one thinks. This is the basic of communication. Our marriage would not have any depth if we were not able to communicate. We would have to read the others mind and knowing how difficult it is to even read my own mind I couldn't imagine if I had to read my spouses mind. I am thankful that we are able to talk to each other. In fact, each week we go out to eat on Thursday night and communicate about what happenend that week. This time is usually a good two hours. Interestingly enough I can't remember the last time I prayed longer then 10 minutes at a time.
