Most unlikely
I got tears in my eyes this morning when I read about God looking past all of Jesse's sons to David, the MOST unlikely one to be annointed as the chosen one. How awesome is that picture? The most unlikely one, is the one God chooses.
Saul had the visual image of a king, but his qualities and abilities contradicted that image.
I'm encouraged, motivated and reminded that the more I live each moment recognizing my weakness, God can still use me.
When I lean on my strengths minus God, like Saul, darkness and stress can invade my soul.
