The great irony
One thing that really proves to me that the Christian faith is "the way, the truth and the life" is the fact that people are so offended by it. To my friends and family that are unbelievers, it seems to me that even just saying the word Jesus stirs something up in them, and the immediately go on the defensive. Almost as though there is something in there spirit that is scared of that word, and the change that it represents. In this verse Jesus warns us that this will happen.
