The book of Acts is a continuation of what Jesus started in the Gospels. It's really a history of the church. It was in Acts that they were first called Christians. In Acts 1:8 we get a command that we are all witnesses. We are witnesses in our community, or city, or state, our nation and our world! Is a good translation. The good news is we can do it through the power of the Holy Spirit. It's only through His Spirit that this is possible.
