When little kids first learn to talk it usually sounds like a lot of gibberish. Occasionally there will be a word you might recognize, a "da-da" or "mommy" or "ball" but other than that, it makes no sense. People who are lost and perishing because they don't know Jesus, often interpret our talk the same way. They hear a few words they might recognize, like "Jesus" or "God" or "love" but the message itself doesn't make any sense to them. It sounds like foolishness. But for us, those who are being saved, there is amazing power in the message of the Gospel. Power to change our lives, our attitudes and even our eternity. Don't ever base your understanding of the power of the Gospel on somebody else's response to it. How have you responded to it?
