God's invisible qualities are quite visible. God is our creator since the creation of the earth God has put Him self on display for us to see. So we the people of Earth "are without excuse" Creation is how we KNOW there is a God and we need to glorify Him for it. We now, just like the people in that time did, started worshiping Creation and not the Creator.
