how i wish that i had the discipline of Jesus to pull away and start my day in contemplation and prayer. it is much easier for me to open my day with e-mail and my to-do list. and when i do withdraw to start the day my time is often rushed and lacks focus. Jesus approaches his day and all of it's demands out a intimate relationship with the Father. rather than manufacturing ministry, Jesus is a distributor as a result of His connection with the Father. May God help me to own this, and become more disciplined in practicing it.
