John 12:1 ASV and John 19:31 ASV

Verse 12:1 says it is six days before Passover, which probably means the journey began on a Friday.

Verse 19:31 states that the crucifixion and burial of our Lord was on the Day of Preparation (Wednesday) and this day preceded a high Sabbath day (not necessarily the seventh day Sabbath).
