True repentance
If ever I needed a picture of what repentance looked like, I can find it here in verse 9. They turned from idols to serve the living and true God of the Universe. How awesome and glorious it is to be free from the bondage of sin through the gift of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. When God grants us repentance we turn from our idols and we turn to Him the most satisfying and ultimate pleasure in the universe. Jesus is more than enough for me!
