Solomon took 13 years to build his palace. It was made of stone and cedar. He built one to be his throne hall where he was to judge. He built another in which he was to live, and another for his wife, Pharaoh's daughter.
Solomon sent for Huram, a bronze craftsman. Huram crafted two giant bronze pillars and decorated them extravagantly. Everything in the palace was made of hand crafted bronze by Huram. The temple, Solomon decorated with gold.

1. Solomon completed the Lord's temple first.
2. Solomon used the most precious metal on the Lord's temple.
3. With as much as he put into his own palace, Solomon put more into the Lord's temple.
