2) Discipline must be consistent.
3) Explain and discuss the reason.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M REALLY SAVED?
Common reasons people doubt salvation:

• People want to feel something.
• People are struggling with certain sins.
• People have received bad teaching.
• People want to contribute something.

CLEAR EVIDENCE
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
• You have remorse for sin and desire holiness.
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him…
• You will grow in your love for people.
…Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
• You will have an inward witness.
And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
CLEAR UNDERSTANDING
• You have sinned and your sin separates you from God.
…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
• You trust Jesus alone for your salvation.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
• Your righteousness is by faith and not works.
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe…and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
WHAT HAPPENS TO SOMEONE WHO COMMITS SUICIDE?
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
