Worth Following but Can't Always Find
There's a tendency (especially in America) to look for and admire "superstar" pastors. They write books, do interviews, speak at or even host conferences, and generally are constantly before the masses. Now, I'm not suggesting that there's anything wrong with sharing wisdom through those means, but I see Jesus trying to get out of the limelight rather than invite it to focus on him. I guess that's why I'm a little suspect of some pastors and preachers when they seem to demand attention. Jesus didn't do that - it just happened, and he didn't always like it since he tried to get away from it to be alone and pray. Definitely worth considering.
