This verse says that "good leadership" is directed by God. But what is "good leadership?" Up until the other week, I thought that it encompassed things like setting the example, putting in the most work, motivating others and pioneering visions. While some of those certainly are attributes...I've seen this phrase with fresh eyes.

Simply put, "good leadership" is the continual effort of bringing as many people along side you as possible when you cross the finish line of life. It's about taking a vested interest in the dreams of others as much as my own dreams matter to me. It's about spreading joy to others and encouraging them daily.
