Jeremiah 43:1 ASV

Jeremiah warned the people about going to Egypt to settle. But they did not like what he had to say and they said that his words were not from the Lord. They all left, leading the remnant of Judah into Egypt. Jeremiah tells the people that the Lord will extend Nebuchadnezzar's throne into Jerusalem and He will destroy the temples in Egypt and their gods.
