Devotion - "We're A Band"
I am using these verses to talk to the Worship Band I lead @ Church.
VS 12 - Compares us to a body each with our own very important roles
VS 13 - We no longer call the shots (we proclaim this in baptism). Everyone gets fed from 1 Spirit. No more labels... Just Christ Followers or Body of Christ.
VS 15 -26 - Summarize - Each have a part, each have a job.
VS 27 - "Only as you accept your part of that Body does your "part" mean anything" - I love this. We can only find purpose through Christ
