Luke 15:7 ASV and Luke 15:10 ASV

There's nothing wrong with cheering for people and encouraging them when they make good choices, but it seems that we need to remember to cheer for people who've been in the habit of making poor choices - regardless of what they've done - when they finally repent. If heaven gets more excited about someone who repents than nearly a hundred others who are already doing ok, we should too. Poor choices might earn our disappointment, frustration, judgment and distaste, but true repentance in someone's life should earn our respect, excitement and praise (regardless of someone's past). Again, it's simple to understand, but often hard to put into practice.
