Question 1: What are "spiritual blessings?"
* Do you see them as real and valuable?
* The spiritual blessings we have in heaven are at work in our lives right now.

Some of the blessings in this verse:
Blessing 1: God has made us holy and blameless before him.
Blessing 2: Predestined us for adoption.
Blessing 3: Redemption through his blood.
Blessing 4: Forgiveness of our sins.

Question 2: How do God's spiritual blessing come to us?
* Only "in Christ." Paul uses that phrase or a version of the phrase 11 times in these passages.
* On that last day, the only thing that will save you is to be "in Christ."
* Illustration: Rahab's family in her home when the Israelites captured and destroyed Jericho.

Question 3: What do God's spiritual blessings reveal about his ultimate purpose?
* God plans to unify everything in heaven and earth in Christ.
