The book of Nehemiah lists the challenges that every person of faith has to face in his walk with God. Nehemiah shows us how to handle bad news, criticism, disputes, opposition, discouragement, intimidation, sin and wrong doing. Living by faith can be a challenging thing. Like Nehemiah, we will face those challenges and, if we stay in the faith, we will succeed. His spiritual success can be sumirized in his obedience to the Word of God, a deeper prayer life and an unceasing service in the face of opposition. I want to be like him, don't you?
