Something is going to happen. Something that requires us to act. We must be ready. We must be anticipating it. It will be a God thing. It won't be natural to us. It won't be the kind of thing we would have done on our own. If we're not looking for it, but rather focusing on our stuff, we'll probably miss it. Preparation, expectation, self-control and hope is what it'll take to realize our opportunity to be a part of the next thing that God is doing. And grace is what it'll take for us to be involved in it. We know this now. So we live differently. Before we only thought about ourselves. We didn't realize that God was doing something. Now we know. And it's as if we are standing on holy ground. All the time. Because we live with the expectation that God is about to do something and we can be a part of it.
