So Jesus is teaching in this home and these guys decide to dig through the ceiling. Pretty dedicated friends huh? But instead of everyone being happy there is this group of people called "the teachers of the law" who get mad when Jesus says your sins are forgiven. And at first this is ok because only God could forgive sins. So for someone else to say your sins are forgiven, means they were claiming to be God. But the cool part is that Jesus then proves that he is. Because only God could speak and heal someone. So everyone is impressed because Jesus just did something that only God could do.
