This verse is so important for our everyday lives. When we put ourselves first in all that we do and only concentrate on what is best for us we will be disappointed and fall into faliar. When we put God first in everything that we do and give all up to him we will not be disappointed and we will not fail because God has been given all the glory. when we put ourselves first in everyday situations we can become stressed out because we are looking for appreciation. Give God all the glory and do all things fro his glory and give yourself up to allowing Him to work with you and he will be praised through your works.

Think of someone being held up in a robbery. They throw their arms up in the air in surrender and let the robber take everything because they don't want to be hurt. When we worship we throw our arm up in the air in surrender because we want to let go of what we are and give everything up to God because we want what he has for us.
