Scripture: 1 Corinthians: 13: 12

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we will see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

Observation-Application

Who will we see face to face? God. What do I know? Nothing compared to God.
When I see God face to face those things that I don't know will become clear. There will be answers to the questions that I've longed to understand.
When I think of "love" I think of the "love" I have for my husband or children. It's a feeling so deep that at times there are no words to express it.
But when I think of God's "LOVE", the kind that is unselfish, I wonder, do I really have an understanding of this "Love"? No, I don't believe I will until the day He and I come face to face.
Can I practice God's "love"? Through my kindness to others, Yes. But my flesh brings me back to self. In order to show God's "Love" we must set aside our own desires so that we can give "love" while expecting nothing in return.

Prayer:

Lord, I pray that I would be able to show a glimpse of what your "LOVE" is like. Let my words and actions reflect who you are and may you use me to bring others to you so they, one day, will see you face to face.
