Jesus Placarded upon His Cross - Galatians 2:15-21
Jesus Christ was crucified and risen for us. All that Jesus Christ did in his life and death was "for us men and for our salvation." Jesus Christ was prographein (Greek word for placarded, meaning: for putting up a poster, in the New Testament, the word was used when a father publicly proclaimed that he claimed no responsibility for his son's debts), on his cross so that through the crucified Christ, the Father has taken responsibility for our debts. We are justified by faith in what God has done in Jesus Christ.
