It's amazing all the different ways that Nehemiah and his people respond to the Word of God.
* Listened attentively (v.3)
* Stand up to respect its reading (v.5)
* Lifted their hands and said Amen! (v.6) - talking back to the preacher
* Bowed down with face on the ground and worshipped (v.6)
* Weeping as you read the Word (v.9)
* Obedience (v.12, 14)
* Celebrate with great joy (v.12)
