Teaching Others Involves Being Uncomfortable
Two out of the three things Paul tells Timothy to do when he is teaching are negative, reprove and rebuke. Sometimes we want as Christians to just encourage people because thats easier than speaking the truth(in love). We will try to sidestep important issues cause we don't want to offend people.
The only people that get offended when you talk about adultery are... adulterers.

We need to talk about the uncomfortable issues and never be afraid to preach them.
