Nehemiah 6:9 ASV

Nehemiah was in the process of rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem when the leaders of enemy nations tried to discourage him, with fear and intimidation. I love his prayer. ” But now, O God, strengthen my hands. Nehemiah didn't ask God to take his enemies away, He prayed that God would help him to finish the job in presence of his enemies. Nehemiah didn't ask God to stop his enemies for attacking him, He prayed that God would help him to finish the job while his enemies were attacking. Nehemiah didn't ask God to take his fear away, He prayed that God would help him to finish the job in spite of his fear. Nehemiah prayer shows us that he had a Indomitable Spirit. The definition of Indomitable is - Incapable of being overcome, subdued, or vanquished; unconquerable.

My prayer today is that God would strengthen my hand so that I would be Indomitable. How about you?
