It struck me that God sent John to tell the people about Jesus. He physically pointed at Jesus and said, "He's the One." The people liked John and followed him. Why didn't more people follow Jesus? I think they probably did, and then He ran them off with crazy demands.

What scares me is I don't worry about crazy demands from Jesus running me off. Not because of my "super" faith, but I'm not hearing them from Him. Is He not asking anymore, or have I mastered not listening?
