You're Not in Kansas Anymore
Ok, so I recall this lesson being so perfect for me that it made me cry. It was just another way that God was speaking to ME, directly. First of all, while in Kansas, I was nothing but a servant of the enemy. I definitely was not there anymore. And secondly, this lesson uses my favorite movie of all time to explain to me exactly how I was feeling. AMAZING.
I highlighted these words: "Your long-held values may already have begun to crumble. Activities you used to do without a second thought now leave a vague sense of uneasiness. Some of your old friends aren't very excited about your new faith."
When we accept Jesus, we are different beings. We change without even expecting to be changed. I know I didn't expect it. I thank God everyday for my new and eternal life.
