This reminds me of an odd encounter I had with a stranger. As I passed him in the hallway, I gave the generic greeting "How ya doin'?" Instead of the usual "Good" or "Fine, how are you?" he said "Better than I deserve!" Wow. That made me think, and he's right! According to my sins, I should be going through life alone, with death as my chosen destination. But due to the awesome grace of God, I am reconciled, and he holds nothing against me! He loves me, and has completely forgotten all the crap I've done in life, and will do in life. Praise God that I'm doing "better than I deserve!"
