Idols Maker
Although the idols in the Paslm are refered to as object of silver and gold, they can actually come in many different ways; money, job, title.... They have mouths but cannot speak, and eyes but cannot see. They have ears but cannot hear, and noses but cannot smell. And those who make idols are just like them, as are all who trust in them.
Altough I have red this psalm many times, today was the first time that this truth jumped at me; If I trust in anything else besides God, I am trusting an idol and it makes me like it, with a mouth that cannot speak, eyes that cannot see, ears that cannot hear, nose that cannot smell... Lord, let my mouth always speak your words, my eyes see as you see, my ears hear you whisper and my nose smell your creation!
