Acts 2:17-18 ASV, 1 Timothy 2:2-14 ASV and 1 Timothy 2:11 ASV

Paul is not saying women can't be in ministry. He is not saying women can't preach. But he is saying women cannot hold the office of pastor when that office gives her "authority over a man." In Acts 2:17-18, Peter quotes the prophet Joel: "...and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy...even on my male servants and female servants...they shall prophesy. So you see, men and women can preach (prophesy), but only men should hold an office of authority (e.g. Sr. Pastor) over men.
