Moving against the flow of culture is a difficult path. The cultural norms and expectations create a large amount of pressure to conform. The “gate that leads to destruction” is traveled by many. The temptation is to be conformed and follow the path more commonly traveled. Jesus challenges us to take the road less traveled, the gate that leads to life. The Christian life is not a democracy dictated by the vote of the majority, but it is the path laid out by the one, our heavenly Father.
