A friend surprised she got a word from Deuteronomy once proclaimed, "Deuteronomy? Who gets anything out of Deuteronomy?" I found it interesting because I love Deuteronomy. It's one of my favorite books of the Bible - don't ask me why because I don't know why.

Anyway, I was reminded of that time when reading Jesus quoting out of Deuteronomy each time satan tempted him. Obviously, there is quite a bit to learn from Deuteronomy if Jesus quoted from it three times.
