Through faith in Christ, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and through the lavishing of the love of God on our hearts a desire for divine things emerge. The scripture says "And they- devoted- THEMSELVES-to the apostles teaching" etc... The Love of God's word, the Love of God's people, the gatherings of God and communion towards God are the result of intrinsic, magnetic, cravings for divine things, God centered things that have for its foundation a wholehearted faith in Christ. Ps 16:2 &3 says "I said to the Lord, you are my Lord, I have no good besides you. As for the saints who are in the earth they are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight."
