These guys were the first camping experts! obviously i'm pro-camping!
The word "nomad" means a people that have no set home and usually move with the season, migration, food supply, or pasturage.
raising livestock would've been the reason for their movement, finding more places for their animals to graze and grow.
living in tents would've been the best way to live since they had to move so much, tents were probably propped up with sticks and made from skins or large vegetation, so they would've been easy to transport or find at another place. i mean, these guys INVENTED tents, that's cool.
when God punished Cain to be a wanderer of the land, he meant that he and his descendants would be nomads, unable to work the ground, so they had to find a new way getting food, by raising livestock.
