In James 5:1-7, it seems initially that James condemns riches of any kind; however, if you continue to read, you see this is not the case. It is mroe about what one does to gain those things and what they do once they have them. Most people in America probably read this passage and think it is for someone else; I know I used to. However, even most "lower-class" Americans are rich when compared to the rest of the world. What are we doing with what we have?
