The tree that gave access to the knowledge of good and evil was planted in the garden by God. The knowledge that the tree possessed has its origin in God. The knowledge of good and evil doesn't have its origin in any created thing. "the man has become like one of US in knowing good and evil."
If the knowledge of good and evil existed in the Trinity, how else did man gain access to it unless it was God who willed for man to have access?
Col. 1:16 says,"All things were created by [Christ] and for [Christ]".... even the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden. He planted the tree knowing the results, with the intention to pay the high price of redemption for the destruction that emanated from it! "[God] saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and GRACE WHICH HE GAVE US IN CHRIST BEFORE THE AGES BEGAN." 2 Tim 1:9
